Mission 295 Report
April 2014

This is a report for Mission 295 by Grace on Wings.

Departure:  Dayton, Ohio

Arrival:  Gulfport, Mississippi

Date:  April 2, 2014

Mission Report
Grace on Wings was privileged to serve Wayne G, who was a school teacher on business in Dayton, OH going to Gulfport, MS to do rehabilitation to closer to family. Wayne had be teaching entrepreneurship courses with high school students.

Wayne was mainly confused during the transport and did not make much intellectual sense. When people experience brain events either traumatic or stroke related significant things occur and to be honest it is mainly a mystery what really occurs.

We know that our Great Physician (Jesus Christ) has the answers.

When Hal asked Wayne if he could pray for him Wayne stated, “Absolutely, you never turn down prayer from a pilot.” Wayne also said, “And I will pray for you as well.” Wayne’s brother and his wife were present for the prayer prior to loading him into the airplane.

I did speak to Wayne’s brother today (Monday, April 7, 2014) and he recognizes that Wayne has a long battle and that he is demonstrating improvements daily. Please keep Wayne and his family in your prayers.

God bless you all for your continued support that allows us all to serve Jesus Christ well!!!

God Bless,
Matt Guy, RN, EMT-P
