Welcome

Welcome to Grace on Wings. We are a non-profit public charity organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) that provides charity air ambulance services within the United States and is based out of the Indianapolis International Airport. Our charity air ambulance service is available for those:

• Too ill for commercial flight.
• Too ill for long distance ground transportation.
• Unable to afford transportation to access critical medical care.

To be eligible, the patient must have a condition requiring medical-supervised transport for a distance of at least 150 miles.

Why is there a need for a charitable air ambulance?

• In today's highly mobile society, tragedy often strikes hundreds of miles from home where there is family and loving support.
  
• Long-distance patient transfers for essential treatment will occur with increasing regularity as hospitals become more specialized.
  
• Our elderly often find themselves in failing health and in need of family help but too far away to receive it.
  
• The cost of a commercial air ambulance service is an expense that most insurance polices do not cover, and many families are not able to pay for commercial service.
