Grace on Wings provides cost-effective medical airplane transport
for individuals needing to travel to or from the Indianapolis area for
treatment. Our air ambulance service is available for those:
•Too ill for commercial flight
•Too ill for long distance ground transportation
•Unable to afford transportation to access critical medical care located
at a distance
To be eligible, you or a family member must have a condition requiring
medically-supervised transport of a distance of at least 150 miles.
Our main focus is patients requiring transportation to and from
Indianapolis but we can also service patient needs in the greater
Midwest who need transport to facilities within 1,000 miles of
Indianapolis. Indianapolis is blessed to have local medical facilities
on the cutting edge of top medical treatment including cancer treatment,
organ transplant, pediatrics, and orthopedic trauma. Many of the
patients requiring this care do not live within driving range or are not
able to tolerate travel over two hours to get to or from this important
medical care.
Grace on Wings is able to provide high quality transport at a much lower
rate than local providers due to our size, low aircraft maintenance
costs and focused service in the Midwest. We staff each flight with volunteer professionals including pilot, copilot and 2 medical crew. We are able to offer
charity-subsidized fares through the gracious donations of caring
people.
